About
(Our mission)
Removing crime fromthe digital world.
PurityOS exists for everyone who doesn’t want their devices to be a doorway to crime, exploitation or harm — and for the people responsible for keeping others safe.

Our mission
Our mission is to remove crime from the digital world — starting where every digital crime begins, the operating system — by preventing crime and cybercrime, from exploitation and fraud to data theft and malware, for everyone who chooses a safer digital life and everyone entrusted to someone else’s care.
Why the operating system
Seven reasons crime has to be stopped at the operating-system level.
- 01
Every digital crime passes through an OS
Grooming, scams, drug and weapon sales and data theft arrive through different apps, but all of them run on an operating system — the one layer where protection covers everything at once.
- 02
Protection on top can be taken away
Apps, extensions and network filters can be closed, bypassed or uninstalled. Protection inside the operating system can’t be removed by the software it guards against.
- 03
The internet was built to deliver, not to discern
The network moves data and leaves judgement to the device. US law pointed the same way, encouraging blocking technology that empowers parents — but devices never took that on by default.
- 04
Prevention protects; prosecution responds
Handling crime after the fact means there is already a victim. Stopping harm before it reaches the screen means it never happens.
- 05
Safety and privacy belong together
Local AI analyses personal content on the device; cloud AI tracks threats without seeing anyone’s messages, photos or history.
- 06
Accountability ends anonymous abuse
Every user is identity-verified once — children through a guardian — so no one hides behind a throwaway identity or poses as a child.
- 07
The law is moving to the OS
California’s Digital Age Assurance Act (AB 1043), in force from 1 January 2027, places age-assurance duties directly on operating system providers.
Why we exist
Every device is a door. We think the lock belongs in the operating system.
Most digital harm reaches people the same way: through a screen. Scams, exploitation, explicit content, drug and weapon sales, disinformation — all of it travels through apps that were never designed to say no.
Safety software has tried to fix that from the outside, as apps and extensions that can be closed, bypassed or uninstalled in minutes. We decided to start from the inside instead, and build protection into the operating system itself.
The result is PurityOS: an operating system for individuals who choose a cleaner digital life, for parents, for schools and for workplaces — private by design, and built to prevent harm rather than punish it.
What we believe
Four principles we build on.
They shape every protection we ship — and every one we decide not to.
01
Prevent, don’t punish
Stop harm before it happens, instead of recording it afterwards.
02
Privacy is safety
Analysis stays on the device. Personal data is never sold.
03
Nothing in secret
People always know which protections are active.
04
Your values, your rules
Sensible defaults, with every category under your control.
In numbers
ways to run it — installed on your device, or streamed from the cloud
protection layers, from verified identity to every app
bytes of personal data sold, shared or used for ads
